Those who make posts on blogs like these spend many hours uploading, editing media, researching information, and just bloody typing up the posts. This is time they could have spent doing any number of other things but spent doing this all to share something wonderful with the rest of you out there.
By comparison, saying thanks only takes a few seconds. Sure more detailed conversation provoking comments are wonderful and great, but a quick and simple thank you is always appreciated as well and that takes no significant time or effort on your part.
